Principal's Message

Greetings from Leakesville Elementary! At L.E.S., our motto is “Learners today, Leaders

tomorrow” because we know that the things we are doing today have an eternal impact

 

Our school administration, faculty, and staff strive to produce an atmosphere where students are pushed to their full potential, loved to the greatest capacity, and recognized for their unique ability.  We believe that each student possesses individual skills that, when identified and refined, can help them achieve great things.  We allow each student the opportunity to reach their highest potential through use of technology, offering of enrichment and intervention services, and differentiation of educational methods.

We also know that working together with families and the community surrounding us produces the greatest results and leads to the best outcomes for our children.  We pride ourselves on welcoming both of these groups into our school for events, involvement on committees, and just to see the amazing things that are happening at our school daily! 

 

Furthermore, we teach state standards with rigor and fidelity, ensuring that we prepare students for the next level of education, all while realizing that each child is abundantly more than what is reflected on any assessment report.  

 

We love being able to serve the families of Greene County, and I am honored to be able to serve as Leakesville Elementary Principal.
